Abstract William Budge was an early convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Scotland, he served an early LDS mission in England and Europe from 1851-1855. This collection includes a color copy of his 1851-1855 missionary diary, letters, biographical sketches and other items pertaining to Budge.

Abstract William Budge (1828-1919) was an early convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Born in Scotland, he served a mission in England before immigrating to Utah; he held a variety of positions within the church in Utah and Idaho territories.
