Abstract The Luther E. Eggersten correspondence (1914-1999) contain letters of Eggersten to his sister, Algie Eggersten Ballif, Luther E. ("Bud") Eggersten, his parents, Lars and Annie Eggersten, and to Kimball Young. Part of the collection deals with Eggersten's view of the theology of the LDS Church. Eggersten was a lawyer and worked at various jobs in Portland, Oregon. He was born into an LDS family, but later left the LDS Church.
