Abstract The Luther E. Eggertsen correspondence (1914-1999) contain letters of Eggertsen to his sister, Algie Eggertsen Ballif, Luther E. ("Bud") Eggertsen, his parents, Lars and Annie Eggertsen, and to Kimball Young. Part of the collection deals with Eggertsen's view of the theology of the LDS Church. Eggertsen was a lawyer and worked at various jobs in Portland, Oregon. He was born into an LDS family, but later left the LDS Church.
