Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Mansfield Lorenzo Snow papers (1866-1960) is mainly comprised of correspondence to the Snow family, i.e. Mansfield, his wife, Anna, and their daughter, Uarda. Most of these correspondence are of a personal nature or are from relatives, although there are letters dealing with Mansfield's professional and social associations as a writer and newspaper man. There is also a series of letters concerning the rental and sale of land. Also included are geneolgoical materials relating both to the Snow and Clarke families. There are also personal miscellaneous items, belonging to members of the Snow family.
