National Paint and Coatings Association, Legal and Legislative Bulletin

 File — Box: 6, Folder: 5

Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Lyman P. Hunter papers (1890-1985) contain articles, genealogy materials, meeting minutes, correspondence, news clippings, reports, research proposals, training manuals, newsletters, and speeches. These items focus on three areas of interest to Hunter (1898-1985): environmental quality, the coating industry (of paints, stains, and varnishes), and biographical material. Of special interest are the copies of "San Juan Remembered," a written remembrance by Hunter of the time he spent in southeastern Utah (1920-1922) in which he recalls the landscape and the people he encountered, particularly the Native Americans.
