Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Miles Pratt Romney papers (1881-1984) consist of diaries (use the photocopies of the diaries), newspaper clippings, certificates, typescripts of autobiographies and biographies, day books, note cards, correspondence, a published book and oral histories pertaining to the family of Miles Pratt Romney. Included also are photocopies of pictures of the Romney family members. Most of the pictures document a trip the family took back to Mexico to see their former home.

Box 3, folders 6-9 contain the original diaries which are restricted. Photocopies are available.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
