Scope and Contents
Harding (b. 1925) was born in Provo, Utah. He discusses growing up on a farm, and his education. He was drafted in 1943, attended basic training, and was shipped to Noumea, New Caledonia, where he worked in a warehouse. He was also assigned to a post in the Philippines, where he was wounded and evacuated to Guam, then Hawaii. After his recover he was assigned as an MP in the motor pool. After his discharge in 1945, Harding worked for Sears Roebuck for thirty-five years. Interviewed by Becky Lloyd.
