- 4-5: Joseph Standing (seated), Rudger Clawson (standing) as missionaries in Georgia. Joseph Standing was later killed by a mob.
- 6: Memorial to Elders W.S. Berry and J.H. Gibbs who were slain at Condor's farm in Tennessee on Aug 10, 1884. B.H. Roberts disguised himself to look for the bodies of these two missionaries.
- 7-8: Elder John H. Gibbs, murdered while serving as an L.D.S. missionary in Tennessee.
- 9-10: Elder William S. Berry, murdered while serving as an L.D.S. missionary in Tennessee.

- 15-16: Picture taken on Oct 5, 1886 in Rome, Georgia. At the left, standing, President J.H. Morgan. Seated in center, William Spry - later Governor of Utah. Still later, Spry served as commissioner of the U.S. General Land Office in Washington D.C.
