Scope and Contents

  1. 1: Colorado Stables where Porter Rockwell died in a manger. Tuft's Mansion House, next door, was an early hotel located on the Southeast corner of State Road and Emigration Street (now State Street and Broadway).
  2. 2: Old Spanish home in Los Ceratos, Colorado.
  3. 3: West side of Santa Fe Avenue, Pueblo, between Fourth and Fifth Streets, in the Spring of 1870.
  4. 4: View of Pueblo in 1873, from a point of Tenderfoot Hill nearly opposite Third Street looking southwest.
  5. 5-6: Drawing of Mormon Barracks on an island in the bend of th Arkansas River. Twelve families lived there during the winter of 1877-1878. Numbers one and 14 were kitchens and dining rooms. These families lived under the United Order.
