From the Collection: The Saburo "Sam" Shimomura digital photograph collection consists of 103 digital only black-and-white and color photographs. The collection contains images of Sam Shimomura during his service in the United States Army during the Korean War dating from 1950 to 1953. The collection also contains digitized copies of color photographs taken at a 2003 Veteran's Day event honoring Korean War veterans and displaying a memorial to Utah soldiers who died in the conflict.
