Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Tsutomu "Stormy" Mitsui photograph collection is arranged in two series. Series 1: Family, Travel consists of Boxes 1-3 and contains black-and-white and color photographs depicting the Mitsui family and Stormy Mitsui's hobby of building and flying model airplanes. Series II: Photograph Albums consists of Boxes 4 and 5 which are oversize and contain family albums. The album in Box 4 contains color photographs dating primarily from the 1990s. Box 5 contains 3 albums: an album of photographs depicting Hitoshi Mitsui's funeral; an album of black and white photographs depicting the City Cafe in the 1950s; and an album of color photographs of the Mitsui family dating from circa 1989. The box also contains loose oversize prints in folders 4 and 5.
