Biographical Sketch

William Fotheringham (1826-1916) was a Mormon convert born in Scotland who emigrated to Utah in 1850. He was imprisoned for polygamy (1885) and later served as mayor of Beaver, Utah, Beaver County Probate Clerk, and a member of the Territorial Legislature (1879-1880).
