The William Fothering papers (1853-1910) contains personal diaries, mission diaries, family histories, professional and personal correspodnece, and miscellaneous materials. He was a Mormon convert born in Scotland who emigrated to Utah in 1850. He was imprisoned for polygamy in 1885.
