Scope and Contents
The Union Times collection (1886-1887) consists of original and photocopied leaves from a hand-written newspaper, authored by young men from the LDS Union Ward in Union, Utah. The paper contains an editorial, letters to the editor, and sentiments and jokes. Reference is also made of Ishmael Phillips, bishop of the Union Ward from 1877-1900, and his imprisonment for polygamy. The newspaper is identified as Volume Five, Number Five.
