The American Forensic Association (AFA) photograph collection consists of materials documenting the history of the AFA, a professional association of forensics educators. Among the AFA's many functions, the most important is the management of two major forensic events; the National Debate Tournament and the National Individual Events Tournament.

The L. Clyde Anderson photograph collection contains photographs of various sites in Salt Lake City and at the Great Salt Lake, photographs of persons and activities in and around Salt Lake City and also includes some aerial views of Salt Lake City and rural areas in Utah.

The Auxiliary of the Reading Room for the Blind scrapbook (1908-1934) was compiled by the librarian, Mrs. Dr. J. J. Snider. The majority of the scrapbook consists of news clippings regarding the creation of the reading room and other issues pertaining to visually impaired people in Utah. Included in the scrapbook are a few programs and issues of The Utah Eagle.

The John M. Baldwin photograph collection contains portraits of John M. Baldwin, mostly with associates in television, and photgraphs documenting equipment and activities at KDYL-TV in Salt Lake City. There are also photographs documenting the construction of transmission facilities for KDYL-TV in Utah and of television facilities in various parts of the United States and South America.

The Albert George Brain papers (1985-1987) consist of an autobiography; biography of Sidney S. Fox, owner of the first radio and television stations in Salt Lake City, Utah; a transcript of an interview by Albert Brain with Sidney Fox regarding his career in broadcasting; and other materials. Al Brain was a cameraman and photographer with several Utah television stations.

The Albert George Brain photograph collection contains photographs of Albert G. Brain involvement as a camera operator and photographer in the news industry. The collection also contains pictures of celebrities and politicians.

The Ray Briem papers (1946-2011) contain papers and materials relating to Briem's tenure as a radio host in Ogden, Utah, and Los Angeles.

The Virginia Bennion Buchanan papers (1930-1987) contain news clippings written by Virginia Bennion Buchanan, primarily for the Kansas City Star and the Jordan Times.

The Ted Capener photograph collection consists of portraits of Capener and photographs of his retirement party.

The Frank Cyrus Carman papers (1924-1989) consist of correspondence, broadcast transcripts, financial and business records, and QSL (radio transmission) cards documenting Frank Cyrus Carman's career in radio broadcasting. Carman established and managed several early Utah commercial radio stations, including KUTA (later KLUB) and KISN in Salt Lake City. The bulk of the collection consists of records, including advertising and public affairs broadcast transcripts, from these stations.

The Frank Cyrus Carman photograph collection deals mostly with newscast and television technology from the 1950s and 1960s.

The Central States Communicaiton Association records (1936-1998) contain the minutes, history, newsletters, membership information and surveys of the association from 1936 to 1998.

The communications ephemera collection (circa 1980s) contains business cards and other ephemera from a variety of media industry employees in Utah.

The Alene Dalton papers (1950-1987) contain scrapbooks, awards, and art work related to Dalton's tenure as "The Story Princess."
