The Milton Edwin Trenam papers (1935-1958) contain many reports, notebooks, diaries, and correspondence pertaining to the career of this chief construction engineer. Most of the collection concerns Trenam's work on dam construction, including the Echo and Vallecito dams. There are also articles and letters from World War II, where Trenam was a captain in the field artillery. His duties included supervising Italian and German POWs.
