Biographical note

Zola Rice Pound attended the University of Utah and was a memeber of the Delta Gamma sorority. She held a degree in Business and worked in the field for five years before becoming a flight attendant. She was stationed in New York where she met her future husband, Perry E. Pound, whom she married in Denver, Colorado in 1952. She was involved in business again, managing a fine men's store in Denver, a sporting goods store in Casper and a Peruvian import store in Steamboat Springs. Zola Rice Pound died in 2011.
