Collection
Identifier: P0048
Scope and Contents
The photographs of G. Bennet Larson primarily document the radio years, 1930-1940, and the acquisition of Intermountain Broadcasting and Television Corporation by Time Magazine, Inc., 1953. Larson began his radio career at KDYL in Salt Lake City at age 16. After a distinguished career in New York and Washington, D.C., as a producer and director in radio and television, Larson returned to Salt Lake and his radio "alma mater"--KDYL--as president. The photographs document his career with many shots of early radio and television sets, and a number of photos of early KDYL operations.
