Abstract The Dean Thompson essay (2000) is titled "Sunstone Routine," which was written by Dean Thompson. Thompson taught at Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah for several years before he retired. Most of the essay includes a copy of Thompson's comedy routine that he performed at the Sunstone Symposium in 2000. Thompson currently performs various comedy routines at clubs in Utah.

Abstract The Henry B. Thompson diaries (1899-1900) consist of photocopies of the originals detailing Thompson's mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Scotland. In these diaries, Thompson describes the challenges that he faced as a missionary. Thompson was appointed president of the Scottish Conference in May 1900 and returned to Utah in June of 1901.

Seven of the letters are from Ann MacNeil of Wishaw, Lanarkshire, Scotland, to her neice, Annie MacNeil Henkel of Salt Lake City, Utah. The letters contain information about various family members. There is one letter to Annie Henkel from her cousin, David MacNeil, which concerns matters of family inheritance.
