The Adolf Hitler Christmas card (1938) is signed by Adolf Hitler in December 1938. The caption reads: Herzliche Glucknunsche zum Weihnachtsfest und zum Fahresnechsel. This folder contains a photocopied version for access purposes. Access to the original must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the item if being used.

John Hoagland avalanche publications collection
The John Hoagland avalanche publications collection (1933-1990) contains published technical reports and monographs mostly from the United States Forest Service on avalanche research and the impact of avalanches on alpine skiing. Included are manuals for the National Avalance School sponsored by the Forest Service, as well as technical reports relating to avalanche control. Hoagland is a winter recreation specialist for the United States Forest Service.

Naomi Hoffmann papers
The Naomi Hoffmann papers (1913-1971) consist of a diary [photocopy and original], a will, a petition, biographical notes, and collection notes. The diary was presented to Hoffman by Mrs. Enos A. Wall in 1913. It mentions singing lessons, theater events, parties, and other subjects. The diary (1913-1919) describes events in the life of an upper class, non-LDS woman in Salt Lake City. Included are some personal papers from her later life.

Edward R. Hogan papers
The Edward R. Hogan papers (1974-1984) contain essays and pamphlets written by Hogan. The topics of the essays are the history of mathematics and such personalities as Orson Pratt, Theodore Strong, and William Lenhart. Also included are two booklets of speeches by nineteenth century LDS Church leaders on the Adam-God doctrine.

The Mervin B. Hogan papers (1833-1996) consist of materials relating mainly to Mormonism and Freemasonry, although some engineering papers are also present. Correspondence, writings, articles, newsletters, pamphlets, notes, and research materials are included. Items dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries are copies.

The collection also includes photographs of Mormon temples and historic sites, astronaut Virgil Grissom, and a portrait photograph of Mervin B. Hogan.
