The Thorn Mayes photograph collection contains aerial views, 1934-1937, of the San Juan River drainage area, the Rio Grande watershed, and of the Navajo and Zuni Indian Reservations in New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. This collection also includes an album of hand colored photographs of the Grand Canyon by Fred Harvey of the El Tovar Studio.
