The Maud Mary Lawson certificate (1894) enabled her to teach school in the Utah territories for five years.
Harry Longabaugh Jr. speech [transcript]
The Harry Longabaugh Jr. speech [transcript] (1970) was given by Longabaugh on 25 June 1970, at Weber County Library, Ogden, Utah. Longabaugh claims to be the son of Harry Longabaugh, the Sundance Kid. In this speech he talks about Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, and their respective gang, and dispels some of the myths brought on by Twentieth Century Fox's movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Stanley D. Lyman papers
The Stanley D. Lyman papers (1923-1979) contain the records of Lyman's assignments with the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, including his superintendency at Pine Ridge Indian Agency. Materials resulting from June Lyman's work with American Indians is also present, as are some personal materials.
Tom McCarty autobiography
The Tom McCarty autobiography (1890s) consist of an account of McCarty's "latest exploits as related by himself." McCarty was essentially an outlaw in the late nineteenth century, his expolits conducted in Utah, surrounding states, and Kentucky. These dictated adventures were later published around 1986 as Tom McCarty's Own Story.
Nathan Cook Meeker papers [microform]
The Nathan Cook Meeker papers (1873-1879) consist of transcribed correspondence and telegrams, copied onto a microfilm reel, from Meeker and his predecessors, including Charles Adams, at the White River Indian Agency in Colorado. Much of the material surrounds the events of the Meeker massacre.
Montana Territorial Penitentiary ledger
The Montana Territorial Penitentiary ledger (1876-1880) shows the board bill accounts for prisoners in the Territorial Penitentiary. Prisoners were boarded for $2.50 per day. Total bill to the U. S. Government was $8619.50.

Certificate (1865) signed by James Duane Doty, governor of Utah Territory, appointing Charles Nettleton as a commissioner to administer oaths.
Benjamin Morgan Roberts papers
The Benjamin Morgan Roberts papers (1841-2002) consist of a homestead certificate signed by President James A. Garfield, Nauvoo House Association stock share notes, a Provo Volunteer Hose and Engine Co. note to his son-in-law, James Farrer, a biography, post cards, photocopied photographs, and news clippings. Roberts was a private in Company D of the Mormon Battalion under the command of Capt. Nelson Higgins.

George B. Sanderson journal
The George B. Sanderson journal (1846-1847) was written by Sanderson who was a doctor assigned by the U.S. Army to accompany the Mormon Battalion on the 2000 mile march from Missouri down the Santa Fe Trail and ultimately to California. The Mormon Battalion was initially under the command of Col. Allen, and after his death was under the command of Phillip St. George Cooke. Included in the collection is a typescript (1995) version of the journal.

The William C. Staines certificate of appointment (1854) consist of a Territory of Utah certificate, signed by Brigham Young as governor, documenting the nomination of Staines by the legislative assembly to the office of librarian.
R. R. Stevens papers
The R. R. Stevens papers (1885) consists of bound drawings, route maps, and written details of a journey from Ute Springs, Utah, via the Blue Mountain region to Bluff City, Utah, under the command of Lt. Col. N. W. Osborne, 6th Infantry. The trip took place in September and October of 1885.
L. M. Sutton papers
The L. M. Sutton papers (1906-1907) contain correspondence regarding the homesteading of certain lands in Colorado and a copy of H.R. 24134 a bill introduced in the House of Representatives January 14, 1907.
