Edward R. Hogan papers
The Edward R. Hogan papers (1974-1984) contain essays and pamphlets written by Hogan. The topics of the essays are the history of mathematics and such personalities as Orson Pratt, Theodore Strong, and William Lenhart. Also included are two booklets of speeches by nineteenth century LDS Church leaders on the Adam-God doctrine.
Mervin B. Hogan papers
The Mervin B. Hogan papers (1833-1996) consist of materials relating mainly to Mormonism and Freemasonry, although some engineering papers are also present. Correspondence, writings, articles, newsletters, pamphlets, notes, and research materials are included. Items dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries are copies.

The Mervin B. Hogan photograph collection contains mostly postcards of Mormon temples, early Mormon leaders, Mormon historic sites, and Utah historic sites. The collection also includes photographs of Mormon temples and historic sites, astronaut Virgil Grissom, and a portrait photograph of Mervin B. Hogan.

The George L. Hoggan papers consist of photocopies of a diary he kept during 1921-1923 while on an LDS Mission to the Eastern United States, letters from B. H. Roberts and others, a program for the Hill Cumorah pageant (1923), certificates, and a book by B. H. Roberts.
Hole-in-the-Rock photograph collection
The Hole-in-the-Rock photograph collection contains photographs of this area located in southern Utah where Mormon settlers were forced to lower their wagons over a precipice of rock after finding their trail otherwise impassable.
Vernal Holley research paper
The Vernal Holley research paper (1993) is entitled, "Josephus and the New Testament." It is a 55-page research document about the Jewish writer, Josephus ben Matthias (A.D. 37-A.D. 100 ca.). The author uses the writings of Josephus ben Matthias and the New Testament to research the existence of Christ and the reality of various events that take place in the New Testament.

The Edward Hunter photograph collection consists almost entirely of nineteenth century albumen portraits. Many are of his own family and nearly all have been identified. This collection provides valuable examples of nineteenth century styles of dress.
