Roosen skiing collection (1969-1991) includes bibliographies, examinations, reports, and correspondence stemming from Roosen's teaching of a ski history class; pamphlets and clippings on ski resorts; articles and books on various aspects of skiing; copies of the "Alta Powder News" (1967-1991). Roosen was a professor of history at Northern Arizona University where he taught a class in ski history.

The Aaron Belnap Ross papers (1857-1971) consists of poetry, clippings, journals, and biographical sketches of Dr. Ross, mainly as they pertain to his interest in river running on the Green, Colorado, and other rivers of the western United States.

The Kenneth Irving Ross papers (1893-2014) consists of materials regarding his explorations of the Southwest as well as his time as the director of Explorers' Camp.

The James G. Rossiter papers (1964-1978) consist of Intermountain Ski Instructors Association exams, the Alf Engen Ski School teaching manual, and numerous ski articles and news clippings. Also included in the collection are materials regarding the Pocatello Ski Association and its relation to the United States Ski Association (USSA)- Intermountain Division.

The Michael Russell papers (1975-2014) consist of scrapbooks assembled by Russell as well as collected publications and correspondence regarding Russell's ballet skiing career.

The Suzy Harris Rytting audio-visual ski collection (1968-1991) consists of films and videos related to Rytting's career as a competetive skier, coach, and ski professional.

The Suzy Harris Rytting papers (1944-1988) consist of photocopied clippings and other documents covering Suzy Harris Rytting's career in ski racing and her election to the National Ski Hall of Fame in 1988. Suzy Harris Rytting is a ski racer. She was a member of the 1952 U.S. Olympic team.

The Suzy Harris Rytting photograph collection contains photographs of Suzy Rytting's career and time spent as a skier and model, and contains portraits of Suzy Rytting's friends and colleagues. Suzy Harris Rytting was a member of the 1952 U.S. Olympic team and held many ski racing titles during the late 1940s and early 1950s.

The Sagen, et al. v. VANOC (Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games) records (1970-2010) consist of research files and court documents related to the suit brought before a court in British Columbia, Canada, by sixteen women athletes who sought inclusion of a women's ski jumping event in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The Salt Lake Climbers Alliance is a non-profit advocacy organization created to promote climbing opportunities, preserve local access and encourage stewardship of the environment.

The Salt Lake Olympic Bid Committee records (1985-1993) contain correspondence, newsletters, news clippings, statistical reports, committee reports, publicity items, and other materials which document Salt Lake City's failed attempt to get the 1998 Winter Olympics.

The Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games records (1959-2003) document the planning, management, and logistics of hosting the 2002 Olympic Winter Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. These records are organized according to function and contain a variety of materials such as correspondence, reports, marketing materials, news clippings, guides, meeting minutes, manuals, and more.

The Salt Lake Tribune photograph collection contains photographs of ski jumping at Ecker Hill (1940s), as well as photographs of early mining days at Alta.

The Harold Stanley Sanders collection consists of his personal research and memorabilia collections about sports, breweries, dairies, postcards, and other materials focused on Utah. The matchbook collection has been digitized and is available online.

The Jean Saubert papers (1956-1998) contain a scrapbook, magazine articles, newspaper, and map relating to her international ski career. Saubert was a member of the U.S. Olympic/World Championship ski teams in 1962, 1964, and 1966. She won silver and bronze medals in the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. She later taught in elementary schools in Colorado, Utah, and Oregon, and was a physical education instructor at Brigham Young University.
