Evans papers (1958-1987) contain correspondence, annual reports, financial documents, brochures, meeting minutes, and reports primarily concerning the operations of Evans and Sutherland Computer Corporation; articles on computer science; correspondence, speeches, and clippings concerning David Evans' activities as a professor at the University of Utah and as a community leader.

The Brigham D. Madsen papers (1854-2000) contain diaries, correspondence, research files, and manuscripts. In addition, there is primary and secondary source material on the Northwestern Shoshone Indians, most particularly the Shoshone and Bannock, whose tribal lands are now limited to the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in Southeastern Idaho.
