The Francis Asbury Hammond diaries [transcripts] (1852-1865) refelct his experiences during his years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Hawaiian Islands. The diaries touch on the day-to-day experiences of a missionary of the time. Hammond went on to be president of the San Juan Stake of the LDS Church from 1884 to 1900.

The Thomas A. Kerr diary (1899-1900) is a missionary journal kept by Kerr. Thomas A. Kerr (1849-1942) was born in Harthill, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was set apart for a mission to Great Britain on 17 February 1899 and arrived in Liverpool on 13 March 1899. He was assigned to the Scottish Conference and labored in the areas of Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Uddington.
