This collection consists of a 1945 speech, an article, and reminiscences of work in Utah's Unemployment Insurance Program and Employment Security Program.

The Fort Douglas records (1861-1954) contain two histories of the fort as well as maps and military orders. Fort Douglas (1862-1991) was one of the US Army's intermountain bases located in Salt Lake City.

The Feramorz Young Fox papers (1830s-1966) consist of the personal, business, and research materials of Feramorz Y. Fox (1881-1957), a Utah historian, economist, and educator.

The Freemen Institute records (1963-1980) consist of pamphlets, course outlines, clippings, questionnaires, drafts of critical essays, correspondence, and notes. Also included are transcripts of speeches by Ezra Taft Benson supporting the organization. The Freemen Institute was a conservative political organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Many of its members were Mormon Church members.

The Michael D. "Mickey" Gallivan papers (1961-2006) contain materials dealing with his involvement with the Radioactive Waste Initiative, Winter Olympic bids for 1998 and 2002, Utah Travel Council, and various advertising campaigns. Gallivan was a former partner to Riester and was President and CEO of Harris & Love, Inc.

The Bae B. Gardner papers (1910-1997) contain diaries, correspondence, notebooks, essays, speeches, various articles and publications, and news clippings. Gardner was an employee at the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah. Most of the collection contains information on Robert H. Hinckley, who founded the Hinckley Institute, and politics in general. Gardner grew up in Hinckley, Utah.

The Milford I. and Alda F. Gardner papers (1926-1980) contains addresses and articles on Mormon doctrines and LDS Seminary teaching materials. Included in the papers are issues of The Redeemed Hebrew, a newspaper directed to the conversion of Jews to Christianity along with genealogical materials on the Gardner and Fugel families and Milford Gardner's diary of a Mormon mission to the Eastern States, 1926-1928 and the diary of Alda F. Gardner.

The Royal Lovell Garff papers (1914-1996) contain journals, correspondence, scrapbooks, convention materials, articles, speeches, notes, notebooks, certificates, financial materials, pamphlets, speech cards, booklets, magazine excerpts, books, and news clippings, among other materials, that Royal Lovell Garff (1904-1994) used during his career as a teacher and public speaker.

The Roy Gibson papers (1960-1989) contain speeches, class materials, subject files, articles, and published items. Gibson was a professor of journalism at the University of Utah.

The Mary Jane Hair papers (1963-1987) consist of materials from and about the Intermountain Conference on Children's Literature, the Intermountain Conference on Young Adult Literature, the Children's Literature Association of Utah, and Theta Alpha Phi. Mary Jane Hair was a librarian at the University of Utah.

The Barbara Bailey Hales papers (1971-1996) consist of documents collected by Hales regarding her research in sex equality and single parent support as well as her participation on various boards and councils.

The William Williams Henderson papers (1877-1944) consist of the professional papers of William Henderson (1879-1944), a former department head of zoology and entomology at the Utah State Agricultural College. Included are course materials, articles by Henderson, correspondence, notes, a student thesis, and other papers.

The Eugene Hilton papers (1867-1989) contain talks, papers, correspondence, journals, day books, and manuscripts pertaining to the life and career of Eugene Hilton (b. 1889) and his immediate family.

The Robert H. Hinckley papers (1891-1997) reflect the academic, humanitarian, and political career of Hinckley (1891-1988). Included are correspondence, invitations, speeches, meeting minutes, personal materials, and papers resulting from his service with the Federal Emergency Relief Administration, Civil Works Administration, Works Progress Admininstration, the Civil Aeronautics Authority, and other organizations and companies.

The Bruce S. Jenkins papers (1974-1996) consist of speeches given during his career as a United States District Judge along with articles featuring Jenkins.

The Don Maguire papers (1899) consist of a speech given by Maguire, entitled "The Antiquities of the Southwest," given before the Utah State Historical Society, and color copies of a letter written by Maguire to Professor L. S. Ropes concerning various geological aspects of Utah.
