The David McKenzie papers (1860-1962) include early programs, playbills, tickets, scripts, librettos, and other materials related to the Salt Lake Theater, as well as some personal papers of David McKenzie (1833-1912), manager of the theater.

The Sterling M. McMurrin papers (1830-2001) chronicle McMurrin's life as family man, student, educator, administrator, U.S. Commissioner of Education, philosopher, observer and critic of Western culture and religion, and participant in LDS culture. The papers (1830-2006) consist of correspondence, scrapbooks, daily planners, interviews, academic materials, governmental papers, speeches, lectures, publications, manuscripts, and awards.

The Eugene H. Merrill papers (1935-1976) contain correspondence, personal certificates, pamphlets, and other documents. Merrill was a communications expert in the U.S. Army.

The Taylor H. Merrill diary and scrapbook (1926-1928) document Merrill's mission to the Southern United States for the LDS Church.

This collection is a reflection of Marsha Midgley and her university theatrical career. In 1953, she was the lead in the theatre department's production of Saint Joan. A scrapbook from that production is contained in the collection. It includes everything from production notes to material samples and reviews. There is also correspondence from 1950 to 1953.

The Glen Miller scrapbooks (1891-1915) consist of two scrapbooks mainly detailing Salt Lake City's theater activities and local amusements and entertainment.

The Karen Huntoon Miller papers (1974-1983) consist of correspondence, resumes, newspaper articles, and skiing artifacts. Karen Huntoon Miller was a freestyle skier in the 1970s. She was women's world champion for moguls in 1974.

The Patrick N. Miller collection (1960-2013) contains manuscript and memorabilia related to the University of Utah Ski Team and Miller's involvement with collegiate and national level skiing. Miller served as head coach, as president of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association and as a member of the National Collegiate Athletics Association Skiing Rules Committee.

The Mineralogical Society of Utah was organized in Salt Lake City to facilitate the study of mineralogy. The collection (1939-1990) contains records documenting the organization, operation, and activities of the society.

The mining industry scrapbook (1872-1873) consists of news clippings describing Utah's mining industry during the late nineteenth century.

The William James Monroe scrapbooks (1947-1991) consists of three volumes containing correspondence, a list of Utah architects, photographs, and news clippings. correspondence, a list of Utah architects, and news clippings relating to William James Monroe's architectural practice in Salt Lake City. Monroe was an architect in Salt Lake City, Utah who practiced from 1946 to 1970.

The Nicholas Groesbeck Morgan papers (1885-1997) consist of archaeological and historical materials pertaining to Utah and United States. The bulk of this collection is devoted to notable Utah/Mormon personalities and figures as well as buildings, places, etc. that are held in historical reverence concerning pioneering and the Salt Lake area.

The Murray Women's Civic Guild records (1940-2004) contain the meeting minutes, financial records and scrapbooks of this club.

The Harry Nelson papers (1886-2015) are mainly a collection of materials documenting the life of Maud May Babcock (1867-1954), a theater teacher and director at the University of Utah from 1892 to 1938. Journals, travelogs, daily planners, teaching materials, manuscripts, programs, announcements, letters, and news clippings are included. Harry Nelson (1901-1988) was a theater student and friend of Maud May Babcock.

The Luella H. Nichols papers (circa 1920s-1940s) consist of two oversize scrapbooks and a plaque awarded to Nichols for "outstanding nurse of the year."
