Zella (1912-2000) was a teacher in both the primary and secondary school systems. She married Eldon McEntire in 1935, and besides raising their children and teaching, was very involved with many clubs, groups, and organizations.

The correspondence is personal and covers family matters as well as comments on the general state of the world. The bulk of the correspondence is to and from Marion Moyle Shenon and her mother, Mary Preston Moyle. Also included are letters from all of the children to their parents and to each other, as well as family friends.

The Joseph Naylor, Jr. autobiography consist of a history of the life of Joseph Naylor Jr. (1864-1947). It is an unpublished manuscript, which also contains brief sketches of other members of the family. It includes a genealogical chart and pertinent correspondence.

The Charles James Neal papers (1911-1991) consists of documents and souvenirs pertaining to Neal's discoveries and experiences while living in Utah. Neal was responsible for constructing the first telephone lines in the Uintah Basin, Utah. He also discovered gilsonite in Ft. Duschesne, Utah.
