The Herbert E. Gregory photograph collection contains images documenting various expeditions. Includes photographs of the geology of southern Utah, northern Arizona and Nevada, and eastern California. Also includes photographs of the Navajo and Hopi Indians and of the Indians and geology of Peru.

The Edward Hunter photograph collection consists almost entirely of nineteenth century albumen portraits. Many are of his own family and nearly all have been identified. This collection provides valuable examples of nineteenth century styles of dress.

The Italian Archives photograph collection contains images documenting the lives and experiences of Italian Americans in Utah. The collection consists of individual and group portraits, photographs of social and religious events, photographs of buildings and events in Sunnyside and Helper, Utah and photographs of various Catholic churches.

The Grant Ivins family photograph collection contains photographs of member of the Ivins family who did mission work in several different countries. The collection also contains various photo albums of life and the University of Utah.

The Edward P. Jennings photograph collection contains portraits of Edward Jennings, members of his family, and friends. The collection also consists of photographs of buildings and activities in Salt Lake City and at Saltair, as well as photographs of mining and logging operations, photographs of people and buildings in Europe and Mexico.

The Frederick Kesler photograph collection constits of portraits of Frederick Kesler and members of his family as well as, photographs relating to Kesler's research on the Book of Mormon.

The Joseph Kingsbury photograph collection contains portraits of Joseph C. Kingsbury and one of his wives as well as portraits of early Utah Mormons. The collection also contains photographs of gravesites of Utah pioneers and photographs of a ceremony commemorating the arrival of the railroad in Corinne, Utah.

The G. Bennet Larson photograph collection contains individual and group portraits documenting G. Bennett Larson's career in radio broadcasting.

The J. Bracken Lee photograph collection consists mostly of images documenting J. Bracken Lee's activities as mayor of Salt Lake City (1962-1974). The collection also includes a small number of Lee family photographs dating from the late 19th century.

The Sherman P. Lloyd photograph collection contains portraits of Lloyd with various political figures, and photographs documenting public political events involving Sherman Lloyd.

The Melba Goff Matthews photograph collection contains scans taken from Melba Goff Matthews' scrapbook. The images in the Matthews collection reflect her time spent dancing and involvement in other activities at the University of Utah. There are also images of her brother Louis E. Goff and photos from her early career at Murray High School.

The Madeline Reeder McQuown photograph collection contains individual and group portraits of individuals important in Latter Day Saint history, photographs of LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) historic sites and photographs of scenes in Salt Lake City.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir photograph collection contains various groups portraits of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at different venues in the 1960s and 1970s.

The Native American photograph collection contains portraits of Native Americans and scenes from everyday life; principal tribes are the Ute, Navajo, and Paiute. Most are copies of photographs in the Smithsonian Institution.

The Harry Nelson photograph collection contains family photographs dating back to the mid 1800s.

The Standley Hunter Rich photograph collection constists of mainly of his grandparents and parents. There is also a print of the Hunter residence in Nauvoo, Illinois.

The LeRoy Robertson photograph collection contains photographs of the University of Utah Symphony Orchestra, the cast of the Book of Mormon Oratorio, and portraits of other musicians and composers comprise the bulk of the collection.

The George Albert Smith Family photograph collection contains photographs mostly centered on George Albert Smith and his time as President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

The Clarence Stevenson photograph collection consists of images surrounding the mining and social life of Eastern Utah during the first half of the 20th century.
