The first time book (1933-1934) contains no handwriting, but does have advertisements for merchants in the Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden, Utah, areas. The second time book (1948-1949) has a listing of engineers, firemen, conductors, freight brakemen, passenger brakemen, yardmen, and yardmasters for the Salt Lake Division, W.P. Eastern Division, and the Nevada Northern Railway Company, as well as the dates each employee was hired....

The Salt Lake and Utah Railroad Company records (1932) consist of a survey sketchbook of "all trolley between 7th South Salt Lake and Payson, including all side tracks and branches; showing necessary changes and listing materials needed for each mile in the event that Pantography system is used." The sketches were drawn by Harvard Olson, the railroad's sub station operator in Springville, Utah.
