The timeline is divided into these periods: Pre-history to 1847, Early Territorial Period, The Middle Territorial Period, Final Confrontation With the Federal Government, Early Statehood Period, Progressive Period, Depression, World War II, Growth Without Advancement, Eisenhower Years, and Expansion and Rebuilding.
