The collection consists of correspondence, articles, financial materials, and professional materials regarding Western Airlines. Lee began his airline career in 1943 and worked in many different field and administrative positions within Western Airlines and established Salt Lake City as Western's first major "hub" operation. He became President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Airline in 1983.

The C. Lowell Lees photograph collection contains portraits of performers and scenes from plays performed by the Moroni Olsen Players in the 1920s. Lees was chairman of the Speech and Theater Department at the University of Utah from 1943 to 1964 and was responsible for much of the development in theater at the University.

Harold Herbert Leich papers
The Harold Herbert Leich papers (1910-1985) contain a journal, correspondence, manuscripts, publications, magazine articles, news clippings, and maps. Harold Leich worked for the Civil Service Commission and helped organize the Environmental Protection Agency. He was an active outdoorsman and took extended river trips on the Yellowstone and Colorado Rivers. He wrote articles on water pollution for a variety of magazines.

Thomas A. Leishman papers
The Thomas A. Leishman papers (1887-1998) contain his mission diary and various personal and biographical documents. Leishman was born in Scotland and emigrated to Utah in 1852. He helped lay out the city of Wellsville, Utah, and assisted in the construction of every public building in the community. He later served an LDS mission to England and Scotland form 1887 to 1889.
