The Tracey Wendell and Leone Sorensen Shepherd papers (1912-1987) contain personal and family documents. Included are birth, marriage, and death materials; greeting cards; piano music and instruction; news clippings; and family histories. Tracey Wendell Shepherd (1903-1982) grew up in Paris, Idaho, where he attended Fielding Academy. He married Leone Sorensen (1900-1987), a piano instructor, in Salt Lake City in 1923.

Fukutaro “Frank” Shikashio (1883-1970) was born on July 19, 1884 in Fukuoke, Japan and immigrated to the United States, where he and his wife, Miyoshi Kusaba (1896-1993) raised their children in Idaho. Frank's son James Shikashio (1920-2010) served in the United States military during World War II. The Frank Shikashio digital photograph collection contains portraits of Frank, Miyoshi, and James Shikashio dating from approximately 1940 to 1970.

This collection contains 103 digital only images of Shimomura's military service dating from the 1950s and of a 2003 Veteran's Day event honoring Utah's Korean War veterans.

It features football team members labeled Nasser, U.S., Arabs, France, U.N., G.B., U.S.S.R., as well as a character with a beard noted as History. This is an original drawing and at the bottom is penned, "To J. Douglas Cook with the best of wishes and thanks for a good idea."
