The Clarice Short photograph collection contains personal photos of University of Utah English professor Clarice Short, her family and friends.

Rocco C. Siciliano (1922-2008) was an Italian American businessman and philanthropist who was appointed to civil service under the Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon presidential administrations. This collection consists of black-and-white and color prints and negatives depicting Siciliano's work in business and politics; the bulk of the material dates from the 1960s and 1970s.

Malcolm Osgood Sillars (1928-2018) was a professor of communication and administrator at the University of Utah. The Malcolm O. Sillars photograph collection contains photographs related to Sillars' research into public speech and signs, as well as photographs of a play from about 1975.

The Linda Sillito and Allen Roberts photograph collection document some moments from the early life of Mark Hoffman but primarily contain images concerning his role in the infamous "Salamander Letter" trial in Salt Lake City, Utah. All of the photographs are recent or are recent reprints with excellent detail.

The William B. Smart photograph collection contains materials realted to his journalism as well as travel around the world.

The Robert Smith photograph collection contains photographs of skiers and staff at the Park City Ski Area, Utah. The collection also includes photographs taken at Brighton, Solitude, and Alta ski resorts in Utah.

Charles Donald “Don” Snow (1926-2018) was a geologist and author. In the early 20th century, Snow's family lived near the Utah quarry where Earl Douglass discovered dinosaur bones in 1909. This collection contains color photographs from the 1990s of the former family ranch and black-and-white copy prints of photographs of Neal and Snow family members.

The Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort photograph collection contains photographs on contact sheets of skiing activities and color prints of ski runs at Snowbird, Utah.

The South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society photograph collection contains three color prints documenting a meeting at a church in South Salt Lake City in 1991. All three photographs were likely taken on the same day, with two photos depicting children singing in-front of the church goers.

The Southern States Communication Association (SSCA) is a professional organization for the study and teaching of communication. This collection contains images from SSCA publications and pictures taken at SSCA conferences between 1990 and 2007.

The Sowards-Tibbals Family photograph collection mainly conisist of photos of family, gatherings, and vacations.

The Robert C. Steensma photograph collection contains photos, political cartoons, and post cards donated by Robert C. Steenma. Robert C. Steensma was a former Naval Reserve for the Naval Seabee Twelfth division in Ogden, Utah.

Page Stegner was an author and historian of the American West. The Page Stegner photograph collection contains images of the Stegner houses in Eastend, Saskatchewan, Vermont, and Idaho, as well as images of the North-West Mounted Police in the early twentieth century.

Justin Call Stewart (1912-1992) was a Utah politician and lawyer. The Justin Call Stewart photograph collection contains photographs, negatives, and postcards of Stewart's life, including family, friends, military service, and travels.

The Omer Call Stewart photograph collection contains portrait photographs of Omer Stewart and of his first wife, Wanda Clayton. The collection also contains photographs taken in Europe during the 1920s; photographs of Omer Stewart receiving awards, as well as two photographs of Wovoka. This collection is digitized and available in the Digital library.

Richard Lewis "Dick" Stimson (1925-2014) was a veteran of the United States Army who served in World War II. After retiring from a career in insurance and sales, he volunteered for the University of Utah Health Sciences and hospitals and bequeathed his estate to the University of Utah Health Sciences. This collection contains color photographs of Stimson's life, his military service, and his involvement in veteran organizations and reunions.

The Jim Sullivan digital photograph collection consists of images depicting Sullivan skiing at Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Included in the collection are photographs of Snow King Resort and ski racing.

Superfund sites are areas that the federal government designates as environmentally contaminated and marked for remediation. The Superfund Records Center photograph collection contains photographs and negatives of soil sample areas from Superfund sites in Utah dating from the 1990s.
