The Bingham and Garfield Railway Company payroll records (1913-1915) document an administrative aspect of this railway which was built by Utah Copper in 1911 to connect its mine in Bingham Canyon, Utah, to its smelter in Garfield, Utah. The line closed in 1948.

Abstract
The railroad time books (1933-1955) consists of two books. The first time book (1933-1934) contains no handwriting, but does have advertisements for merchants in the Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden, Utah, areas. The second time book (1948-1949) has a listing of engineers, firemen, conductors, freight brakemen, passenger brakemen, yardmen, and yardmasters for the Salt Lake Division, W.P. Eastern Division, and the Nevada Northern Railway Company, as well as the dates each employee was hired. The...

Elijah Malin Weiler papers

Abstract
The Elijah Malin Weiler papers (1839-1921) is a small railroading collection containing about forty pieces of correspondence. Weiler immigrated with his mother to the Salt Lake valley. He served in the 1865 Blackhawk War and was a missionary and settler in Muddy, Nevada. He was a member of the Crismon and Weiler Contractors firm and he assisted in building many of the railroad lines in Utah.
