The Hillary W. St. Clair papers (1896-1997) contain some of St. Clair's published research, calculations, notes and workbooks during his time with the Bureau of Mines, and other research in the field of metals and mining. Materials of particular interest include St. Clair's notes and lecture material regarding the history of American mining. This was later published by the Bureau of Mines in a book called Mineral Industry in Early America.

The Lynn Stegner papers (1977-1997) consist primarily of her manuscript drafts, some with critiques, notes, and research materials. It also contains correspondence.

The Ewart A. Swinyard papers (1940-1988) contain laboratory notebooks, teaching material, articles, personal files, sophomore clinic preparations, handbooks, committee and research reports, meeting minutes, annual reports, and University of Utah medical information. Swinyard was a pharmaceutical researcher and a professor of pharmacology at the University of Utah.

The Joseph B. Toronto papers (1845-1960) contain correspondence, legal documents, notes, and maps. Joseph B. Toronto (1854-1933) was an early professor at the University of Utah.

The Utahns for Better Transportation Records (1988-2017) consist of agendas, comments, correspondence, data, environmental impact statements, ephemera, legal documents, maps, memorandums, reports, and studies related transportation projects and proposals in Utah. The records were maintained by Utahn for Better Transportation co-chairs, Roger Borgenicht and Ann Floor.

The Richard S. Van Wagoner papers (1797-2008) contain a record of Van Wagoner's historical research and writing. Correspondence and other papers are also included. Richard Van Wagoner is a clinical audiologist and Utah LDS historian and author.

The Glenn M. Vernon papers (circa 1940-1989) contain research files, drafts, and other preparatory material for Vernon's scholarly writing and teaching, as well as documents providing information on his academic career. Vernon was a professor of sociology at the University of Utah during the 1970s.

The David M. Walden papers (1872-2000) contain materials collected by Walden while researching the history of St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City. St. Mark's, the first hospital in Utah, was established in 1872 by members of the Episcopalian Church, mainly as a response to the health needs of miners flourishing in the area. Included in the collection are meeting materials, correspondence, newsletters, notes, news articles, publication excerpts, and other items.

The Kent Logan Walgren papers (1739-2002) are comprised of Walgren's correspondence and notes, Masonic bibliographical works, materials concerning the relationship between Freemasonry and LDS theology, and LDS historical documents and studies. Kent Logan Walgren (1947-2003) became immersed in a multi-year investigation of Freemasonry which resulted in a 2002 publication of a two volume work titled "Freemasonry, Anti-Masonry and Illuminism in the United States, 1734-1850: A Bibliography."

The Sue Jensen Weeks papers consist of twelve pages of notes that correspond to some 16mm film, created by Weeks.

The Gordon Weggeland papers (1924) contain notes for missionary speeches and a poem. Gordon Weggeland was a missionary for the LDS Church in Scotland.

The Rulon S. Wells papers (1916-2008) contain notes, essays, and correspondence about the phonemics of the Korean language. This collection also contains manuscripts authored by Wells, manuscripts by other authors, personal materials, and information on The Plato Microfilm Project.

The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies is a collective partnership amongst several Watercolor Societies in the Western United States. Every year this federation sponsors an annual juried exhibition of collage and water-based media. The collection consists of their annual records. Exhibition catalogs from the collection have been digitized and are available online.
