The Olympic Games (XXIII: Los Angeles) records (1973-1999) inventory details the records of the Los Angeles Olympic Games Planning Group. The inventory contains a transfer list of records. The city of Los Angeles hosted the 1984 Olympic Games and the Twenty-Third Olympiad.

The Irvin K. Luker papers (1962-1975) consist of materials documenting violations of the anti-noise ordinance of Salt Lake City caused by the auto races at the Utah State Fair Grounds. Included in the collection are correspondence, notes and news clippings.

The Daniel B. Luten Glen Canyon photograph collection consists of slides that were organized by Daniel Luten for a presentation encouraging the restoration of Glen Canyon. All slides were captioned by Daniel B. Luten; captions are included in this register.

The Thomas C. Mabey papers (1964-2016) detail his involvement with international and national car racing and car show events. The collection includes materials regarding the activities of Rocky Mountain Motorsports along with general racing ephemera and memorabilia. Mabey is a long-time racer and is also a vintage car collector.

The Theodore Frederick Major photograph collection contains images of skiing at various resorts in Utah and at Sun Valley, Idaho.

The Theodore Frederick Major ski clippings collection (1937-1984) contain articles from the Salt Lake Tribune, the Pinedale Roundup and Utah's Wasatch Sports Guide concerning skiing and the life of Ted Major.

The Julia Mancuso digital photograph collection consists of images of Mancuso's participation in the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy as a downhill skier.

The film Margie of the Wasatch (1940s) is an early promotional film for the Utah ski industry. Filmed at Alta Ski Area in Little Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, the movie uses a narrative about two ski instructors competing for the affection of beautiful ski tourist Margie to showcase the Wasatch Mountains and the lessons, facilities, and services available at the resort. Alta began operations in 1939.

The Brad Mauss papers (2000-2001) contain correspondence, notes, booklets, planning maps and drawings regarding the logistics of the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Kenneth Fielding McAllister photograph collection documents the June 1956 river trip through the Glen Canyon of the Colorado River with a semi-private river running group, SOCOTWA. Also included is a SOCOTWA tee shirt that was given to each member of the party, and miscellaneous documents assembled as background information by Robert G. Vernon.

The Margo Walters McDonald digital photograph collection contains 7 black and white images of her skiing and training.

The Ruth McDonough photograph collection consists of digital scans of 56 black and white and 6 color snapshots taken with a Brownie camera by Ruth McDonough on two separate river trips with SOCOTWA, an LDS river-running organization. The six color photos in Folder 1 were taken by someone else on the trip and later given to Ms. McDonough; the black and white photos were all taken by her.

The Doug McLaren papers (2004) consist of a press release from the Grand Teton National Park regarding McLaren's death. Also included is a compilation of songs in a booklet entitled, "Jackson Hole Ski Patrol Songs." McLaren had worked as a park ranger for the Grand Teton National Park from 1952-2004.

The Amy Toda Meeker papers (1946-1949, 2007) consist of news clippings, a biographical sketch, and ski racing programs. Meeker was a former student and ski racer for the University of Utah.

The Monte Meier digital photograph collection consists of images depicting Meier skiing in the Winter Paralympic Games and in Montana and Colorado.

The Marvin Alton Melville papers (1950-2001) contain scrapbooks, newspaper and magazine articles, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other documents concerning the United States Ski Association (USSA), particularly the Alpine Competition Committee, of which Melville was the chairman, and its dealings with different ski associations such as the International Ski Federation (FIS). The collection also contains material on the 1956, 1960, and 1964 Olympics.
