The Pioneer Memorial Theater collection (1935-2011) consists mainly of theater programs and announcements for productions performed at the theater. Pioneer Memorial Theater, originally a replica of the old Salt Lake Theater, was completed in 1962 on the University of Utah campus. In addition to the programs, the collection also contains certificates, news clippings, posters, and unidentified set designs.

The Henry P. Plenk papers (1952-1987) contain correspondence, articles written by Plenk, typescripts, interviews, and other documents pertaining to Plenk's book, Medicine in the Beehive State.

The Orson Pratt certificate (1859) details his appointment as Chancellor of the Deseret University, signed by governor Alfred Cumming.

The Raymond Price papers (1925-1985) consist of materials documenting his athletic career at Ogden High School as well as his athletic career at both Weber College and the University of Utah. Included in the collection is a bound personal history.

The Harold G. Reynolds papers (1895-1936) consist of certificates, programs, correspondence, notes, newspaper and magazine clippings on Harold G. Reynolds' life and LDS Church assignments. Reynolds was the mission and travel secretary for the LDS Church.

The Lorenzo A. Richards papers (1914-1999) contain the personal and family materials of Lorenzo Adolph Richards (1904-1993), a physicist who specialized in agronomy.

The William D. "Bill" Rishel papers (1925-1947) contain life sketches and clippings. Rishel was an automobile enthusiast from Utah.

The Benjamin Morgan Roberts papers (1841-2002) consist of a homestead certificate signed by President James A. Garfield, Nauvoo House Association stock share notes, a Provo Volunteer Hose and Engine Co. note to his son-in-law, James Farrer, a biography, post cards, photocopied photographs, and news clippings. Roberts was a private in Company D of the Mormon Battalion under the command of Capt. Nelson Higgins.

The Miles Pratt Romney papers (1881-1984) consist of diaries, newspaper clippings, certificates, typescripts of autobiographies and biographies, day books, note cards, correspondence, a published book and oral histories pertaining to the family of Miles Pratt Romney.

The Charles Sheppard homestead certificate reproduction (1894) confirms his right to land in the Utah territory.

The Hyrum Jenkins Smith papers (1833-1996) consist of biographical materials, correspondence, nineteenth century articles on LDS history, nineteenth century maps of Utah, Salt Lake City. and Mexico, family histories, publications of B. H. Roberts, Salt Lake City play programs, and missionary photos.

The Jennie Teasdale Smith papers (1893-1910) contain three patriarchal blessings, a certificate, and geneology sheets. Jennie Teasdale Smith was the daughter of LDS Church apostle George Teasdale.

The Horace Sylvester Snyder family papers (1902-2010) contain the personal and professional papers of Horace Sylvester Snyder (1912-2010) a professional photographer, and his father, Horace Greeley Snyder (1873-1951), the owner of multiple mines in the American West. The collection contains biographical information and correspondence of extended family members within the Snyder and Sylvester families.

The William C. Staines certificate of appointment (1854) consist of a Territory of Utah certificate, signed by Brigham Young as governor, documenting the nomination of Staines by the legislative assembly to the office of librarian.

The item is a certificate for the honorary degree of Master of Didactics awarded to William M. Stewart in 1892.

The George J. Taylor papers (1843-1897) contain six volumes of photocopied materials including journals, correspondence, certificates, and legal documents. Taylor (1834-1914) was a regent of the University of Deseret (now University of Utah) and the oldest son of John Taylor, third president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

The Robert G. Vernon papers (1839-2012) contain correspondence, family biographical materials, diaries, scrapbooks, certificates, articles, books, newsletters, news clippings, legal documents, financial documents, LDS Church research, and local church histories and records. Vernon was a Utah lawyer and avid LDS Church historian.
