The Michael Martinez papers (1956-2013) contain the professional papers of this Utah attorney, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Utah State Bar, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Utah Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and the Small Business Administration. Michael Martinez was the third Hispanic person to graduate from the University Of Utah School Of Law, and the first to practice law in Utah.

The Norma W. Matheson photograph collection contains photographs of Scott and Norma Matheson at various official functions.

The Michigan Communist Party collection (1924-1935) consist of flyers, handbills, and publications of regional leftist organizations in Michigan. The flyers promote rallies, marches, and other events focused on social equality and economic relief, and encourage membership in the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA), unions, and various community groups.

The MX Information Center records (1976-1986) consist of subject files, alphabetical files, petitions, correspondence, financial records, writings, publications, and other materials. The MX Information Center was an anti-MX and anti-nuclear weapons group in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The National Organization for Women photograph collection contains images of a march and rally organized by the Utah Chapter in Salt Lake City on October 2, 1982.

The David Nelson papers (1983-2012) contain documents, memorabilia and news clippings spanning his tenure as an activist for the rights of Utah's LGBT community. Nelson was an activist and spokesperson for the rights of the gay and lesbian communities. He also founded the Gay and Lesbian Utah Democrats (GLUD), an organization that lobbied for the rights of, and promoted participation within, the gay community in local and national politics.

The Alta LaRee Hill Pehrson papers (1883-2006) contains correspondence, family genealogies, clippings from her writing career, including the history of Magna, Utah. Alta Pehrson was active in the town of Magna, Utah, and was the first woman President of the Magna Chamber of Commerce.

The Lucybeth Cardon Rampton photograph collection contains portraits of Lucy Beth Rampton, community leader and wife of Calvin Rampton. Rampton was governor of Utah, 1964-1976.

The Bruce Roberts papers (1966-2004) contains documents and advertisements relating to Roberts' work as a journalist, co-founder of the Cosmic Aeroplane Bookstore, concert promoter and activist. The collection also includes underground newspapers collected during the 1960s and 1970s.

The Salt Lake City club and music scene collection (1987-1996) includes mostly musical and political fliers, posters, and handbills.

The Salt Lake Council of Women records (1912-2009) contain programs, newsclippings, and administrative materials used by the Salt Lake City organization's leaders and members over the course of the Council's existence since 1912. The Salt Lake Council of Women is a women's volunteer public service group in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Naomi Silverstone papers (1979-1983) contain Silverstone's office files. Included in the files are calendars, correspondence, speeches, research projects, newspaper clippings, and other miscellaneous materials. Silverstone is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Utah.

The Students Against Apartheid collection (circa 1980s) consists mainly of news articles regarding apartheid and the Shanty Protest conducted by this group on the University of Utah. Some financial and legal papers are also included.
