The Fort Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club records (1966-2008) contain memos, newsletters, directories, meeting minutes, invitations, membership information and applications, bylaws and mailings. Tennis and social activities are the main focus of the club, and documents related to these activities comprise the bulk of the collection.

The Fort Douglas records (1861-1954) contain two histories of the fort as well as maps and military orders. Fort Douglas (1862-1991) was one of the US Army's intermountain bases located in Salt Lake City.

The Hamilton Gardner military history publication (1952), by Gardner (1888-1961), is titled Pioneer Military Leaders of Utah.

The Gibbons and Reed Company histories (1915-1974) consist of a history of the company compiled by Ross Clay Advertising (1974), a business prospectus (circa 1960), and an issue of "America's Builders" devoted to the history of the company (1966). The Gibbons and Reed Company were general contractors specializing in large-scale Utah construction projects for the state and local governments.

The Gilead Baptist Church records (1957-1986) consist of financial, analytical, and annual reports pertaining to the Gilead Baptist Church, a congregation formed in 1949 as the result of the merging of the Burlington and Rio Grande Baptist Churches.

The Haight's Creek Irrigation Company records (1978) include materials relating to the activities of the Haight's Creek Irrigation Company which operated near Kaysville, Davis County, Utah. Included is a handwritten and typed history of the company prepared by William E. Gailey. Also included are clippings related to the history of the company and the area.

The Mary Jane Hair papers (1963-1987) consist of materials from and about the Intermountain Conference on Children's Literature, the Intermountain Conference on Young Adult Literature, the Children's Literature Association of Utah, and Theta Alpha Phi. Mary Jane Hair was a librarian at the University of Utah.

The Steven Harvey Heath research paper is titled, "Mathematics at the University of Utah, 1850-1977: a paper prepared for professor Everett Cooley, History 694, December 16, 1977, University of Utah."

The Jesse S. Hoy manuscript (1952) is the result of work done by James G. Hodgson, Director of Libraries, Colorado A & M College. He organized and pieced together with contents, explanatory notes, etc., the disorganized pieces of the original Hoy manuscript, which was received with the purchase of Field and Stream.

The Ann S. Jarrell research paper consist of a history written as a graduate research project at Brigham Young University titled, "From Vision: The Special Collections Department, University of Utah Libraries 1946-1961." Also included is a letter from the author to former Special Collections Department director Everett L. Cooley, 1986.

This collection consists of a typewritten history of the development of the physical facilities of the University of Utah from its inception in 1850 as the University of Deseret to the late 1960s.

The E. D. Jones papers (1919, 1925) consist of a short history, written by Jones, of the Independence Mine at Turret, Colorado, and two letters.

The Stanley Jones papers consist of materials concerning the 1979 commemorative trek by Stan Jones and Harvey C. Leake to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Wetherill-Cummings-Douglass expedition which "discovered" Rainbow Bridge. Included are biographies of Jones and Leake, historical background material, and an itinerary of the trek.

The George Edwin Little family history (1963) consists of a published book that contains genealogy and family history pertaining to George Edwin Little and his descendants.

The Magna Community Church records (1979-1988) contain financial records, programs, and a history by Enna Abernathy.

The Malad City Electrical Power Light System history (circa 1963), compiled by Hubert Gleed, records the history of this company and its impact on those living in Malad.

The history of the church is microfilmed history of the LDS Church written by scribes and taken from the diaries of Joseph Smith Jr.
