Charles Donald “Don” Snow (1926-2018) was a geologist and author. In the early 20th century, Snow's family lived near the Utah quarry where Earl Douglass discovered dinosaur bones in 1909. This collection contains color photographs from the 1990s of the former family ranch and black-and-white copy prints of photographs of Neal and Snow family members.

The Snow Cup Race was created to promote skiing in the Intermountain and Salt Lake Area. This event was held at Alta, Utah beginning in the 1940s. Skiers who have participated in the races include Jim Gaddis, Lynn Johnson, Billy Kidd, Corey Engen, and Margo Walters.

This collection contains images of the Snyder family and of Snyder's career in mining, particularly in the area of Pioche, Nevada.
