Abstract The history of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States, Utah Chapter, was compiled by Eleen T. Williams and was written by Postmasters of the state of Utah. It provides brief historical information regarding the history of the postal service in cities and counties in Utah.

Abstract The O. J. Hollister essay is titled, "History of Independence Hall: A Landmark in the Development of Utah." Independence Hall was located on the south side of Third South just west of East Temple (today’s Main Street). It was an adobe building 33 feet wide and 57 feet long, built by the First Congregational Church in 1865.

Abstract The Linda Sillitoe papers (1940-1996) contain handwritten and typed manuscripts of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, as well as research files consisting of news clippings, correspondence, articles, promotional materials, and other documents. Included are drafts and correspondence for a biography of Lowell L. Bennion by Mary Bradford for which Linda Sillitoe served as editor. Sillitoe is a writer and poet.
