The Golden Spike Centennial scrapbooks (1969) contain clippings regarding the celebration of the centennial of the 1869 completion of the transcontinental railroad at Promontory, Utah.
Greek railroad workers records
The Greek railroad workers records (1904-2000) contain copies of newspaper articles and government records pertaining to a railroad accident in February 1904, as well as articles from the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News about the dedication of a memorial to the accident victims. In February 1904, 28 railroad workers, including 16 Greek immigrants, were killed.
