Snow Cup Race scrapbook
The Snow Cup Race scrapbook (1962-1963) consists of news clippings, correspondence, photographs, and project proposal materials. The Snow Cup Race was created to promote skiing in the Intermountain and Salt Lake Area. This event was held at Alta, Utah beginning in the 1940s. Skiers who have participated in the races include Jim Gaddis, Lynn Johnson, Billy Kidd, Corey Engen, and Margo Walters.

The Jim Gaddis papers (1955-2001) consist mainly of news clippings and scrapbooks concerning Gaddis (b. 1940), an award-winning ski champion from Utah. Correspondence and other miscellaneous materials are also included.

The Jim Gaddis collection contains images of Gaddis skiing alone and with other skiers. Folder one consists of images of Gaddis racing and skiing; folder two contains images of Jim Gaddis and Margo Walters skiing together; and folder three has two photographs of Jim Gaddis with other skiers.

The collection also contains material on the 1956, 1960, and 1964 Olympics.

The Einar Fredbo skiing scrapbook (1930-1934) was kept by Einar Fredbo and contains clippings regarding skiing activities, particularly ski jumping, in Utah and the western United States. Clippings document the activities of Fredbo, Alf Engen, and other skiers. Many clippings document ski jumping competitions held at Ecker Hill. Einar Fredbo was a ski jumper in Utah and the western United States.
