Albert Ray Olpin served as President of the University of Utah from 1946 to 1964. This collection consists of images related to his activities as President of the University and personal materials such as art and family.

The Ray W. Olsen yearbook collection (1938-1942) consists of two yearbooks published by South High School in Salt Lake City, Utah titled The Southerner (1938, 1942) along with one yearbook published by the University of Utah titled The Utonian (1942). All yearbooks include inscriptions from classmates of Olsen.

The John R. Park papers consist of school notebooks, written by Park, founder and first president of the University of Utah. They also contain scrapbooks, printed material and clippings.

The Joshua Hughes Paul papers (1800s-1900s) consist of a biography of Joshua Hughes Paul taken from his diaries, essays and poetry written by Paul and others.

The Richard Douglas Poll photograph collection mainly consists of slides used for lectures as a history professor at Brigham Young University (seperated from Manuscript collection MS 0674, box 13). Additional material includes personal materials like his LDS mission, travel, and family.

The Raymond Price papers (1925-1985) consist of materials documenting his athletic career at Ogden High School as well as his athletic career at both Weber College and the University of Utah. Included in the collection is a bound personal history.

The Leo G. Provost photograph collection contains images of groups of people.

The Waldemer P. Read papers (1947-1975) consist of essays, presentations, and a manuscript for a book on philosophy. Waldemer Pickett Read (1897-1975) graduated from the University of Utah and earned the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Chicago. He was professor of philosophy at the University of Utah for forty-two years.

The Waldemer Pickett Read photograph collection consists of mostly formal portraits of Read as the former head of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Utah. Also includes informal images of Read conducting business meetings.

The Alton F. Richards photograph collection consists of portraits of Alton and various members of the Richards family. The collection also contains images from Richards' teaching career, photographs of Whittier, Alaska, and aerial views of Ogden. This collection has been digitized and is available in our Digital Library.

The G. C. Riser agreement is a typewritten signed contract with handwritten corrections between managers of the University of Utah and Stanford University varsity football teams agreeing to play in Salt Lake City in the late fall of 1902.

The George F. and Florence Shermen Roberts papers (1908-1913) contain a bound petition from the University of Utah Alpha Pi Fraternity to establish a chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of Utah; a leather bound program from the installation banquet of the Gamma Beta chapter of Beta Theta Pi; and a photocopy of a calendar from the University of Utah.

The Lewis M. Rogers papers (1940s-1990s) consist of the office and teaching files of Rogers, a University of Utah philosophy professor. Included are articles, essays, class materials, correspondence, and other papers.

The David Smellie and Daisy Rolapp Romney papers (1914-1980) consists of two yearbooks published by the University of Utah entitled The Utonian (1916-1917), along with a scrapbook of ephemeral materials collected during her years as a student at the University of Utah. Daisy Rolapp Romney was active in the University of Utah Dramatic Club and was also a society editor of the student newspaper for the Utah Chronicle.

The Milton H. Sevy speech (1914) consist of a graduation address delivered by Sevy at the University of Utah on 3 June 1914. In his address, he urged graduates to get involved in political matters and warned them not to be too conservative.

The Shared Ministry in Utah records (1959-1997) consist of documents relating to the operation and activity of Utah's Shared Ministry, a ministry composed of multiple denominations. A majority of the collection focuses on the ministry's involvement with campus life, mainly at the University of Utah.
