The Benjamin Roland Lewis papers (1885-1955) consist largely of correspondence having to do with the publication of his scholarly works and also contains peoms, and drafts and bound typescripts of Lewis' work. B. Roland Lewis taught English at the University of Utah from 1915 to 1951. He was considered an authority on William Shakespeare.

This collection contains letters (1831-1894) concerning various events in Utah history. Included are letters from Brigham Young to Thomas W. Ellerbeck; and one letter from Daniel H. Wells to Brig. Gen. W. B. Pace. Also included is a poem entitled "To Emma by S. M. Kimball;" certificates; two diaries; deeds; and other family letters.

The Melvin E. Lewis papers (1970-2004) consist of an autobiography, poems, and a number of brief photo essays. The essays are from one to three pages long and illustrate Lewis's view of the American West. The photographs which accompany the essays were taken in Utah, Idaho, and Montana from the mid 1970s through 2004.

The Preston and Helen Strobeck Linford papers (1936-1981) contain journals, family histories, certificates, poems, notes and other momentos of their marriage.

The Zella Skidmore McEntire papers (1923-1996) reflect her activities in church, in school, with her family, and her interest in politics. Zella (1912-2000) was a teacher in both the primary and secondary school systems. She married Eldon McEntire in 1935, and besides raising their children and teaching, was very involved with many clubs, groups, and organizations.

The Madeline R. McQuown papers (1803-1976) contain some of McQuown's research and works. While the collection does contain some of McQuown's more personal works, such as some of her poetry, the collection deals mainly with her research. Her research was focused on Brigham Young and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS Church).

The Matthew Frederick and Claire Wilcox Noall papers (1805-1970s) consist of the Noalls' personal and professional records, as well as records passed on to them by their ancestors.

The Our Vision, Our Voices: a Mormon Women's Literary Tour records (2008-2010) consist of short stories, poetry and remembrances by female authors with a shared Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints heritage. This collection also contains materials and correspondence relating to the creation and administration of the tour.

The Helen Zeese Papanikolas papers (1954-2001) contain materials concerning the research and writing of this Utah historian and folklorist. Included are correspondence, research files, news clippings, oral history manuscripts, published and unpublished articles.

The Robin M. Papworth papers (1964-2001) consist of correspondence, postcards, poems, printed materials, and a yearbook related to her work as a poet.

The Ern Pedler papers (1914-1986) spans his career and creative life, from his high school writings to a letter granting a magazine interview in the 1980s. In addition to the manuscripts, other written material and ephemera give a detailed picture of Western life. Pedler was a long-distance rider, cowboy, and horse wrangler. He was also a prolific writer of fiction.

The Faye Glover Petersen poems are entitled "Hats" and "Seagulls." Faye Glover Petersen was born in 1914. She was a lyricist and wrote poems.

The Agnes Just Reid papers (1850-2004) consist of a biographical sketch, an oral history transcript (1972), personal correspondence, and biographical sketches and correspondence relating to her mother, Emma Thompson Bennett Just. Included are correspondence and other materials related to the publication of her book Letters of Long Ago.

This scrapbook contains a well considered collection of poetry in printed, typed and hand-written formats.

The Clarice Short papers (1904-1975) consist of diaries, correspondence to her family in New Mexico, and rough drafts of poems. Short was an author and a member of the University of Utah Department of English.

The Linda Sillitoe papers (1940-1996) contain handwritten and typed manuscripts of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, as well as research files consisting of news clippings, correspondence, articles, promotional materials, and other documents. Included are drafts and correspondence for a biography of Lowell L. Bennion by Mary Bradford for which Linda Sillitoe served as editor. Sillitoe is a writer and poet.

The Wanda Clayton Thomas papers (1839-1992) contain materials concerning Wanda Clayton Thomas (1912-1996) and her heritage, concentrating on the descendants of Newell H. Clayton.
